“Making swimming accessible to all, by teaching fun lessons to develop confidence and ability in the water.”
With a background in primary school teaching, I understand that each child has a unique learning style. Learning to swim is no different, so my aim is to help children realise their own potential in the water, by making lessons fun and challenging.
Lessons are taught under the guidelines of the National Plan for Teaching Swimming as devised by the Amateur Swimming Association; however lessons are varied by drawing on a wealth of swimming resources to support my teaching. Teachers are Enhanced CRB checked by Kingham Hill School and other establishments we work for. Teachers are members of the Institute of Swimming which provides a level of cover for Civil and Public Liability insurance.
Operating from Kingham near Chipping Norton, in the rural heart of Oxfordshire, Turtle Swimming offers a teaching approach to help everyone learn to swim.
‘SwimFins provide buoyancy and aid body position without restricting the ability to move in the water…they’re also FUN! They can be purchased through Turtle Swimming for £19.99 each.’
